Resin Practice and Custom Keepsake Ideas in Effingham, IL
We have been practicing and refining more resin work here at Heartland Craft LLC in Effingham, Illinois. This recent practice piece is part of a growing custom area for the shop: resin pieces that can hold flowers, photos, colors, names, dates, and other details that make a gift feel personal.
Resin pieces take more time than same-day laser engraving or UV printing because they need curing time, usually overnight or longer depending on the piece. Customers can still be part of the fun part up front: choosing the layout, colors, flowers, photo placement, and overall direction before the pour.
One of the best parts of this post was the conversation it started. A customer asked whether dried flowers could be used in something like this, and the answer is yes. We have several molds to choose from, and we can often work photos or other keepsake details into the design as well.
